Sorry that it has been so long since I’ve updated.. We recently had a death in the family and Ive been really busy for a while. But Im back now and ready to blog some more.

Bullies
Sitting here watching Dr. Phil talk about bullies. All these different stories about kids literally being bullied to death. And the one where a mom helps bully! That’s insane. These kids were so scared and felt that nothing could be done to help them. I seriously started to tear up and I’m the kind of person that never cries. Not because I don’t want to, the tears just never come. Except for child abuse stories, I tear up a little for those too. Anyways enough about that. As a parent, it breaks my heart to see kids being bullied. Especially by big groups of kids. It’s not right and I know my kids will one day have to go through high school. Jealousy
How to deal with jealousy? I have no idea. Its something that just takes over and I have no control. Kind of like a lady hulk without the ripping of the clothes. It’s sad really. As much as I know and believe that my husband would never cross that line. I still can’t turn off the green skin and the ’you’re a ho’ thoughts that pop in my head every time another woman shows an interest in my man. Its like a animal instinct that washes over my helpless mind and body. And of course all my girlfriends will hear all about this ‘ho’. There’s just one little problem, while I want to be rid of my jealous side, my husband likes it. Uncontrollable emotions in a controllable environment.
Teen Pregnancy
What’s up with teen pregnancy? Is everyone popping babies during senior year now? By the time I was supposed to be a senior there were already at least 20 kids with kids and more that were pregnant. And that’s just one high school. By the time I was supposed to graduate, I had already moved out, had a full time job and a baby. So I was a teenage mom. While trying to enjoy my lunch about a week ago, I heard the most stupid conversation ever. At the booth behind me, I couldn’t help but overhear a conversation about boys and sex. Not my typical conversation topics for lunch. But then again we’re talking about 7th graders. Spanking
I was out shopping with my family the other day when I watched a lady spank her child. The child was throwing a fit over some candy and she spanked him. He was maybe 4 or so. Well another woman started telling her she was a bad mom and she didn’t deserve to have a child and a bunch of other rude stuff. All because of the way she disciplines her child. The lady with the child was clearly embarrassed from the other lady making it a bigger scene. Child Abuse
There I was reading the newspaper when I came across another story about child abuse. It seems like there are at least 3 or 4 stories a week involving child abuse. That’s just crazy, and that is only the cases that make the news. In the story I read, the little boy, under 2, was beat to death by his mothers boyfriend. And it wasn’t a one time beating. Dead Beats
I understand that sometimes its hard when you have a child that was unexpected, but that doesn’t mean you take off running. Its not cool to leave your child and the mom hanging. Its your responsibility, so grow up and be a real man. Pay for your child’s well-being. I also understand that you may hate the mom, she may be a crazy nagging stalker.
